Slink Style

Wow my internet connection has been a righteous pain in the ass tonight, but between getting kicked offline, and searching almost in vain for a multiple file uploader plugin for wordpress (found one, YAY! That will save me heaps of time) and my new WoW account, I have managed to get these skirts I promised last week uploaded, in boxes, and on the wall! Go me!

First up, 2 new reds in my SLink leather coat because goodness me, I love red! And I think that the black-red is very sexy and almost metallic I also have a demo now available for this coat.

And then that skirt I promised. This skirt looks great under my coat, it’s not too fussy, just a nice and simple mid thigh length, a-line skirt with soft wool folds, and a little double button detail on the waistband. It attaches to the stomach. It comes in 17 really great, classic colours, and it’s $100L per skirt, and $1300L for the fat pack! See it on my NEW wall directly opposite the entrance to my boutique. I have been overwhelmed from the response to my little leather coat, and I would like to thank those that purchased this item from me and stopped by to have a chat, it was a pleasure to meet you!!

I didn’t expect to get such a response, if I had, I would have included more colours in the range, but I am making amends for it now, and have included 7 more great colours to the vendor on my “NEW” wall! Included in this range is a shorter skirt for the coat as well as the long skirt. This shorter skirt is around knee length and gives a bit more of a casual feel to the coat.

If you have previously purchased this coat with the long skirt, and would like the short skirt as well, please IM me with the colour of your coat, and I will send the short skirt your way!

I have also put up a fatpack, all 10 colours for $2400L – Essentially, that’s 2 for free!

I love love love this coat. This is a remake of the very first outfit I ever made in SL. I like the original version, but it just wasn’t good enough for me, so over the last day and a bit I have laboriously repainted it to make this fine example. It’s completely handpainted. It’s designed to be worn over pants. Part of this coat is on the skirt layer so skirts cannot be worn underneath it. I wil, at some stage, make a prim miniskirt to be worn under this coat specifically. In the meantime, I will enjoy wearing this over my fave jeans and boots! This skirt WILL require some fitting to make it fit properly. It’s mod for those who are happy to do that themselves, but if fitting is needed, IM me.

I have spent a great deal of time lately retexturing my hairstyles (I’ve been off work with a headcold, what else am I going to do?), and creating a new style to go with the collection.  I have also reshot all the advertisements and repackaged the styles into new vendors!  That’s a heck of a lot of work for 6 styles, but it’s now done.  No time to rest on my laurels though, more hair textures and styles to be made!!  All of my styles below come with the cute frangipani pictured.  It changes colour when it’s touched!

Here we see Audrey, in all new colours.  Audrey is a sassy and smart long ponytail with a short, blunt fringe pulled into a pearl clasp at the nape of the neck.

Next up is Aurelie, a neat french twist held up with pearl-tipped pins.

Featured next is Gwyn.  This is a new style for me and one I really like!  I’ve been wanting to make something like this for a long time, and I decided to just do it one day.  It came out exactly what I wanted.  Gwyn is a high ponytail with a hair wrap, and high, smoothed back bangs.

Nadia is a reworked version of an old style.  I’ve made it softer, with little wisps around the nape of the neck for a more feminine look.

Sidney is another reworked style, but it’s an absolute favourite of mine and I simply had to retexture it and re-release it with the new textures!   Sidney is straight, long and shiny with heavy, long bangs, perfect for hiding behind.  Sidney comes in only 6 colours instead of 7 because of our friendly alpha on alpha flicker with blondes

Sidney also comes in a shorter shoulder length style for something a little sportier.

This little number I threw together yesterday after a request from a friend when she couldn’t find a black denim miniskirt the right length. I thought I may as well make it in a few colours while I was at it! The skirt is partially photosourced, heavily modified to make it fit as well as possible, and the eyelet studded belt is handpainted. It’s $100L each, or $800 for the fat pack!
