These boots are not rigged, and are resizable globally and in 2 directions via the HUD.

After many, many months of work, prototypes, testing, and more than a few requests, I have finally released my latest feet creations at the Slink Mainstore.

These are skinned to the SL avatar and work naturally with your movements.  I have taken a lot of care to ensure that the ankle movement is smooth and works very well with many different poses.  As they are skinned, you cannot edit the size using a resize script, however, I have provided 5 standard sizes, instructions, slider settings and custom fitting information with them for a perfect fit!  They will fit female avatars of *any* height.

These also use my new Ankle Blender system on both tattoo and sock layers for a perfect match.  Simply match up the Blender layer to your skin, enter the RGB into the HUD, select the corresponding skin texture on the HUD and presto, perfectly matching feet!  You can see a video of this process Here

If/when a system becomes available that these feet can be adjusted to the avatar sliders instead of the other way around, of course they will be updated!

Also available is a new range of static mesh feet, using the lovely versatility of mesh to eliminate ugly toe seams and texture mismatch, reducing lag and texture and sculpty load times.  These feet do not move with your ankle bones, instead locked in place with an animation and script as my feet have been previously, but the upside is that you can adjust the size, and finetune/position them to the best possible fit without having to adjust your leg sliders   Something for everyone!

Both these styles come with a new HUD, and a nail tinting HUD for the perfect nail colour.

This style is available in 16 colour and texture options, and the fatpack is mix-n-match scripted with all 16 options.  This boot is not rigged, and is able to be resized to fit via the included HUD.  A selection of the colour options is shown below:

New at Slink!

When I joined SL over 4 years ago, this was the very first item I wanted to make.  Imagine my surprise and dismay when I found out the hard way that it was very difficult, if not impossible with the building tools at the time, and I was never satisfied with texture boots that had to have shoe prims stuck on.

Since then, we’ve had some technology updates with sculpties coming onto the scene in 2008, but still, I never liked how sculpty thigh boots broke at the knees and ankles.  Now finally with SL’s new “Mesh” technology, I can have my dream thigh boots.  They are slim, they are very sexy, they are available now in 10 goooorgeous colours at the Slink Mainstore!

I have provided FOUR sizes to fit 4 body archetypes, and there is an information notecard contained within describing how you can obtain a custom fitting if it’s required

These boots require a mesh compatible viewer such as Viewer 3.  At this time, Cool VL Viewer and Firestorm are the TPV’s capable of displaying meshes.  I have a pair rezzed in the store, if you see an oddly textured prim, you need an up to date viewer!

These shoes come in 4 options – Solid straps and soles, transparent straps and soles, and you can turn on the transparency of the straps and soles separately, making them perfect dancer’s heels!

Due to the transparency of the straps and soles, these shoes are incompatible with invisiprims.

There are 8 colours available in this style and as usual, the demo is free and fully functional!

Updated Sheila Thongs – now available at the Slink Mainstore

I have just updated my 2009 Sheila Flipflops for women (men, yours are still to come)  These flippys have new, pretty feet and an easy to match system using tintable tattoo layers and direct colour input!  The new ankle design means much reduced visible seams in this area and less need for jewellery to cover it up!  Though, you can still wear jewellery if it pleases you!

***Please note that this style no longer includes invisiprims, and does include a tattoo layer, so an appropriate viewer is recommended.  If you require invisiprims, please contact Siddean Munro inworld.

That’s right, I have new shoes at Slink today and they are called Shaz.  They are cute, and sexy and perfect summer shoes.  Each colour has 2 sole options, a colour match and a woven espadrille type base, and you can turn on and off the flower and frog decorations as you like

I have created a super simple tinting method for these new style feet, instructions are in the demo!

These shoes are fully V2 compatible, they include optional tattoo layers, and don’t include invisiprims.
